Foggy Morning in Shenandoah National Park

Sunrise shoot, engagement session, WV wedding photographer, VA wedding photographer, Virginia wedding, Virginia elopement, elopement photographer, best photographer, elopement photography, alternative wedding, styled shoot, Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah Valley, Shenandoah Valley Bride, Harrisonburg Virginia, Charlottesville Virginia, Luray Virginia

I drove ten hours on two hours of sleep for this shoot and it was totally worth it. Isabelle and Collin (a local couple) met me at Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park for a sunrise boho elopement styled shoot at 6:30am. Katherine Burling Martin styled the shoot, Sparrow's Floral Design contributed the flower crown and bouquet and With Simplicity did Isabelle's makeup.

4am wakeups are a bit brutal, but I'm a huge fan of sunrise sessions. For the most part, we got the park to ourselves, were able to take advantage of the fog (which only lasted about 30 minutes after sunrise) and Isabelle and Collin didn't have to worry about having an audience, which helped them feel comfortable.

So if you ever do a session with me, I'll probably suggest early morning. Trust me, it's worth it.
